What problems or difficulties did you encounter?
Very few, almost none at all! Gee that's exciting.
What would have made this task easier?
Nothing, it was fairy straight forward.
Any specific suggestions on improving the documentation?
There wasn't any documentation necessary for what we did.
Which software development languages did you use? (LabVIEW? C/C++?Java?)
LabVIEW
Did the software library components fit your needs?
Yes they did. Besides the addition of the Kinect library, we haven't noticed many library changes from last year.
What sensors, software library components, or other devices did you use?
During the summer we got our CAN system up and working, so we decided to recreate this with the new LabVIEW. This was relatively simple. We plan to (as part of hardware testing) to use the new Jaguars. Once we accomplish this we hope to do more advanced CAN work.
Any feedback or suggestions for improvement with regard to the software development environment, default code, or libraries?
Not at the moment, it all seems very similar to last year.
How did you debug your robot program?
We only had a few wiring issues that were quickly remedied.
